1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Cabriolet

• Aircooled 1600cc single port flat-four
• Produces a whopping 70 horsepower and 90lb ft of torque (but only weighs 1700lbs)
• 4 speed manual

The car was originally Amber but is now repainted Kasan Red (the pictures are from a couple years ago when it was pulled out of a garage so the paint was not in the best shape)

Interior has been restored to factory with the exception of a black dashboard (the dashes were usually paint matched)

Virtually unmodified except for some weight reduction and an aftermarket Alpine stereo system with JBL speakers + Bazooka tube in the frunk

• Exhaust tips were replaced with slightly larger tips that allow for better exhaust flow and removes the whistling sound

Surprisingly capable and fun on twisty mountain roads

Apparently these are quite rare but I can't find an exact number on how many are left

It definitely won't win any races but it will turn some heads!
