1996 Citroën AX SPOT
Most of you have heard about big power figures and huge tires putting all that power to the ground.
Well… this is(n’t) it.
Say hello to Marceline, my French monster.
Powered by a mighty 954cc single-point injected 4-cylinder engine producing an earth-shattering 50 HP (yes, really) and a neck-snapping 71 Nm of torque (52 freedom lb-ft), all that monstrous power is sent to the front wheels through a 4-speed MANUAL gearbox (Basically a French muscle car).
To handle this absurd amount of performance, it rides on massive 145/70R13 tires. For reference, most modern spare tires are wider.
This engineering masterpiece weighs only 706 kg (1556 lbs in freedom units), so light that if you park it on a windy day you legally have to anchor it to the ground to prevent it from migrating to the next state.
That gives it a breathtaking 70 HP per ton. Better power-to-weight ratio than walking.
Bought it in January for 900€ ($1060 bald eagle dollars) with on
