2006 Mazda MX-5 NC1 6MT

It's been another year since the last time I posted my car and a bit has changed.

2006 MX5 NC1 6MT 'Poor Man's S2K'

• 150k Kilometres
• 2.0L MZR LF-VE (160hp) (hopefully swapping out within the next year)
• Copper Red Mica
• 6sp Manual, Factory Torsen LSD

This used to be my daily, now it is a track/weekend car. I purchased it back in march of 2023 completely stock from an old gentleman and have done pretty much all the mods myself apart from fibreglass and paint work on the bumper.

I plan to swap in a cammed 11.6:1 compression ratio 2.5L MZR L5-VE/Duratec (should hopefully make 210-220whp NA) once I save up enough money and stop spending it on the bmw and maybe a bucket seat & roll bar since this thing corners wayy too fast for my knees to handle and that should be the biggest things I want done finished. Also some more minor motorsport mods like braided brake lines.
