Might as well introduce the newest arrival in my garage:
1960 Fiat 1800
The top of the Fiat line of the late 50's / early 60's
This is the first series, with a 1795cc inline 6 that makes 75hp
A quite early example, so early in fact that it predates the option of an electric overdrive in april 1960.
The car itself doesn't have many accessories, except for the windshield sprinklers, and a left external rear view mirror
I bought a radio and an antenna to fit in it, but i'll see if i have the time and the will to do it
This car, when I found it, was 1 owner and never been restored, it has been off the road since 1982 when the owner (wich was a lawyer down in Salerno) died. This was a car he bought to take the family (with a chauffeur) to their summer home in Taranto.
The difficult bit to get it back on the road weren't the necessary TLC's, but the papers of the car that went lost decades ago
Now that all that is fixed, i can finally enjoy it.
